Today, December 9th, Peru, Colombia, and Chile, become the newest countries to join the TunnelBear network. Our Bears have been digging all over the planet to get these new tunnels online, so they don't get the chance to enjoy their travels as often as they'd like. Who could give up the chance for a quick selfie in countries this beautiful, though?

We're always excited to add new locations to the growing list of global TunnelBear servers. Making sure you can connect to the closest and fastest server has always been one of our top priorities.

How do I connect to the new tunnels?

Install the latest version of TunnelBear

You can download the latest version of TunnelBear for Windows or macOS from our website. For Android, you can get the app from Google Play.

For Windows and macOS

Once you’ve downloaded the app, double click on the install file and follow the prompts. You’ll have to sign in with your TunnelBear account login when you open the app for the first time.

For Android

Google Play will automatically install the app when the download is finished. You’ll have to sign in with your TunnelBear account login when you open the app for the first time.

If your app is already up-to-date, the new tunnels should show up automatically in the list of countries. You can also find it on the map if you head over to South America.

TunnelBear for iPhone & iPad

If you haven’t already downloaded the latest versions for iPhone or iPad, you can download them from the App Store.

Once you’ve downloaded the TunnelBear app, sign in with your TunnelBear account information and agree to let TunnelBear set up a VPN profile. An iOS popup window will open asking you if you would like TunnelBear to “add VPN Configurations”. Tap “Allow” and TunnelBear will finish installing.

If your app is already up-to-date, the new tunnels should show up automatically in the list of countries, and on the map.

Happy tunneling,
the TunnelBear Team
